Terry Leotta started his career in the Banking industry after leaving school in 1979.
Commencing as a junior teller and “climbing the ladder” to eventually become part of the lending team. Transfers within the Bank, saw him leave his home town of Stanthorpe and eventually reside at his current location, Toowoomba. Experience gained within the Finance Industry, made the transition into the next stage of his working life a seaming less task.
Taking up the role of Business Manager/Accountant at a local earthmoving company, Terry was able to apply his knowledge gained to help grow the business.
During 1985 saw a move from Private Accounting into Public Accounting. It was here that allowed him to see the transformation of business records into the world of Income Tax and compliance. For a period of some seven years, Terry looked after a portfolio of clients attending to their Taxation affairs. Computerization of accounting records began to “take hold” seeing a major need for software implementation and training.
Megadan Consulting was established to cater for this growing market. With the introduction of GST in July 2000, Terry upgraded his skills and commenced training small to medium business owners on the processes of recording and reporting their obligations to the Taxation Office.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Therese, Quadbike Riding, Caravaning and catching up with friends and family.
